POZETTI Gelato Display

Traditional display counter for gelato with round vertical pans and lids in stainless steel. We offer a huge range of pozzetti, with different types of refrigeration: static, ventilated or glycol. The ventillated pozetti were first launched into the market in 2005 and can be with storage, without storage or a combination in order to hold the condensor unit.

Pozzetti is the traditional way of storing gelato and ice cream. The product is not seen, it is stored in perfectly tempered stainless steel carapina cylinders

– Available in Glycol, static and ventilated.
– Sizes offered: 4+4, 6+6, 8+8, 10+10, and 12+12 available.
– Offered with and without cladding.

IFI has equipped its entire pozzetti range (static, ventilated and glycol) with innovative anti-rotation tubs. IFI industrialized system locks the tub inside the pozzetto, thus preventing it from rotating without having to implement homemade, often ineffective systems.

Gelato is easy to serve: the tub is locked in place and therefore does not rotate when the operator spoons out the gelato.

Two different tubs are available:
  • Stainless steel tub with anti-rotation system - H 250 - Ø 200 mm - 7 litres
  • In high density polyethylene certified for food contact - H 247 - Ø 200 mm - 6 litres

The refrigeration system is made up of a copper serpentine embedded inside of insulating polyurethane foam with thermostatic valve. The condensing unit is provided on board or remote. The standard electronic control panel with digital display allows the visualisation of the inside temperature. The inner tank is equipped with a system able to minimize the temperature difference (thermal delta) between the upper part and the lower part of the tank.

In this way IFI guarantees a perfectly creamy gelato inside the working tubs and a quicker
readiness for the gelato inside the second level of tubs.

  • The service level of gelato is 150/200 mm below the serving counter level, as it must be maintained below the level of cooling liquid.

    serving counter level, making service easier and more ergonomic

The holes on IFI pozzetti work-surface are finished with ABS collars, instead of metal, which act as a “thermal blocker” and reduce the formation of  condensation.

In pozzetti counters the stainless steel work surface is also equipped with anti-condensation system for the counter itself.
